Don't hold your breath for South Park: The Stick of Truth DLC

Fans of South Park: The Stick of Truth shouldn't expect to see DLC hitting after developer Obsidian revealed to Polygon that it believes publisher Ubisoft is pretty much done with the game.

"As far as we know [Ubisoft and South Park] are done," said Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart. Despite this, Urquhart says that DLC was on the cards in the early days of development, but the game's troubles as it shifted between publishers put an end to any such talks.

"We had always talked about it, extending the story through DLC, it was just stuff on paper," Urquhart said. "But it never went beyond talking about it. That was when THQ was involved. When it moved to Ubisoft, there was more pressure to get it done. I think that became the priority, so we got it done."

Urquhart adds that the developer is reaching out to Ubisoft to see if anything else can be done with the game in the future.

No, I am pleased that information, but fortunately it's only a few weeks. Honestly, I already can not wait to re-incarnation in Harkyn and running around the maze .;) But it was a good move on the part of the CI, they will release another patch with the DLC, so that everything will be work fine.

I agree with you and I hope they will release this patch with DLC on this month so they have not too much to finished it but I keep my fingers crossed. I want to play on great DLC without bugs so I can wait for release.

Its like " I have good news and bad news" both are good in this case. For me better will be play with delay in bug free DLC than wait for Patch

  4. Exactly. I think there is no doubt that such a solution is the best. wSpokojnie, I can wait a little longer. :) Do you already know exactly when we will explore the maze?
